Is there hockey in California?
ok I just moved from Wisconsin and hockey has been like a 400-600 season October to late March to mid-term and it was excellent, but moved to Newport Beach, California, is there as the teams travel youth hockey or whatever, and where it should be hockey ice
Welcome to California! Newport? Very nice – do not enjoy the beach scene is the perfect time to enjoy sun, sand, surf and girls … that scarcely covered most of the year. Yes, there is hockey in California. As a poster above already, is one with a Stanley Cup, Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks give young people training travel and equipment (about 30 minutes from Newport Beach). Further down the road you have the Kings in Los Angeles, however, their affiliated youth organization located in Ontario (about 45 minutes from Newport), name of team leader is the Citizens Bank Arena. Of course, there's San Jose Sharks, but a greater distance. Your best option is to visit the track, which is the training center Ducks. There are also a number of ice rinks in the area local, you can register for teams in the leagues of origin hockey and travel. Link (supplied).
