Goalie pads is a front for a game?

I am a hockey goalie in HS and I have a game tomorrow against a team of non-threatening. We decided to leave goalkeeper saving, usually playing defense in the net in my place tomorrow for practice. This allowed me to play, you know, for fun. I wonder if it is legal, according to U.S. standards Hockey for me to use my goalie skates to play along. I know the cons, etc. .. and I have to send runners, but are worse, it could affect my feet, and I can not skate well on them. This is just a fad, but I am curious to know whether arbitrators I called for a violation of the teams or something. Any response?

NO! U.S. Hockey rules say a player other than a goalkeeper is not allowed to use goalie pads purpose because they do not provide adequate protection to the ankles. Borrow a pair. Habs fan … thanks
