us professional ice hockey teams
Am I being cynical, or what we call the 'teams of all time in hockey seem redundant?

Recently, I heard a radio interview where the International Ice Hockey is a compilation of all time, a team of international hockey. They intend to vote in more than 100 hockey writers to get a list that reflects the international career of a professional player and explodes. That said, for the coming months, these writers will sell us hockey fans of a team that has the usual suspects: Wayne Gretzky, Slava Fetisov, Martin Brodeur, yada, yada, yada. The question here is: Is not it a bit useless to announce a team of all time, now that will be reviewed in twenty years? Better yet, what is this team at the IIHF if not included pre-World War II 2 players, all members of the French team (including 1960, 1980 and 2002) or in other countries of the former Soviet Union, Canada, Sweden and Finland? What some ideas to make this team Legit? Any other thoughts?

The "All Time", which never misses the mark in all sports. We (here in the forum) could not be completed with an "all time best players today …. unworthy of someone, someone you liked. The depreciation factor of these lists is the introduction of former stars of the new / younger fans. Otherwise, we think that the neo-phytes Sid Crosby invented something. (The list, the debate it creates) the light that has always been an exciting sport, played by the most skilled athletes in the world, long, long time. We know that no one can distill the "greater" than the huge list of big names and old today. But the new generation of fans in a historical context and perhaps some interest in research. Disregard for "greatest of all time" something, but responds to a target value.
