Setting your own website cheap
If you are playing with the idea of creating a website for the first time, a search feature quick Google for cheap web hosting will throw up a huge arsenal of different hosts that offer basically the same price and benefits vary enormously.
I was recently involved in the creation of a website fan club for a team of local ice hockey. I needed a host for the website which offers simple tools for downloading files or update the pages, support for the blog topic on your website, a domain of your choice, and addresses e-mail that may be involved.
Maintain low cost is essential, because all their income comes directly from fundraising and sales goods in games.
For this project, actually shyed away from my normal web hosting for the first time and decided to do a lot of research online to find the best option.
The needs of the club are very simple and very similar to those of a person wishing to establish a personal website, for the first time:
# Storage Capacity
This is the amount of physical storage capacity of all the files on your site. This includes all pages, images, video, etc, so I try to find a good size, which will last until your site expands.
For supporters Club website, I chose because it was 3GB enough for the huge database of pictures of their party.
# Bandwidth / Monthly Traffic
This is something that not everyone seeks, but is a very important consideration. The amount of data that can be downloaded from its website. The wider the band that has more visitors to your site can handle.
If you exceed your deductible, your site often closed until the next billing month – and certainly not ideal!
Make sure you have enough bandwidth to allow maximum visitors to your site – I set for 100 GB / month.
# Domain Name
This is your address on the Internet (whateveryouwant.com) – Most web hosts provide this at the cost of accommodation, but always You can choose to purchase additional addresses, and there are different prices depending on whether you choose the suffix (. com,. co.uk,. net,. org, etc, etc)

Worse, why not have an email address attached to your website?! FriedFish56@aol.com You@whateveryouwant.com is probably more catchy, then consider this is included in your contract.
He a 10 email addresses included in the package for fans of the club, more than enough for each of their officers.
# The Blog hosting
If blogging is your thing, try to find a venue that will install the blogging software or CMS like Wordpress or Joomla, as part of the transaction. This gives you an easy way to update your website without expensive software for Web publishing, including Microsoft Expression Web and Adobe Dreamweaver.
It was perfect for fans of the club because they lacked the experience or funds to work with complicated software. Using a WordPress Blog to keep their sites Simple Web done for them!
