How can I teach my child to take a hit?
In hockey. My son is 5'7 "130 pounds and is 17. It is played on a team of SH the United States. Most people on the team are about 6 'tall and 180 pounds. My son has played hockey for 1 year in Canada @ A local minor league. Most Canadians do not check exactly what I had seen the mini-games. But the United States reviewed a lot and very wicked. My son is fast, but there were some Geting close calls in check in the middle of the ice. Closed tightly. My son is in Asia, and most Asians have smaller body frames than their counterparts. They can not take many shots.
Leverage is key. Tell him to go down all the time. Erect and painful blows, whether their inclination and have a firm position. View Ovechkin skate has a very good center of gravity and therefore can not withstand the blows. Also, when contra tables, Get Low, barely feel it. When skating, do not allow your shoulders to face directly the hotel of your opponent. Punch your child in the arm as well. If you can not take a hit, not to play. If you receive a blow and feel the next morning, its probably in the wrong league play
