Is there a site or other information on rules and regulations of hockey entertainment?
Normally I do not respond to questions with questions, but is absolutely required. When you say "recreational hockey" there is much room for interpretation. Normally, hockey is played by a all very similar with slight variations depending on the organization to which they belong. Examples are U.S. Hockey or Ahaus (American Hockey Association of States States). By the rules of the game's most complete line, I suggest www.usahockey.com, but you might be better served by (and no offense intended) Hockey for Dummies. I found this book not only has great examples of play and basic rules, but describes why the pieces to develop as they do. Cheers!
