Some basic questions about ice hockey?

Well, my friend plays ice hockey, and I want to know more about the game when I see it, I'm not just some clueless record holiday does not know what the F is going on. I have some basic questions. Please do not call me stupid or foolish or Clueless … that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. I'm really interested in sports … I went to some games before, but I never really followed what the rules are. Thus my questions (of the language of my friend uses when on the phone, so that some questions may be totally wrong and I misunderstood him): What a hat trick? Am I right? OI heard wrong? What is a team game, "the trap" The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and lines 4 Which is the purpose of each position? Where the most qualified and well-paid players play? What is more, less? Well, I think it most. Thank you, I just thought of another. What is a left wing lock? Thank you!

Glad to see someone else interested in the game! But anyway: hat trick – you're right … and is 3 goals in a game by a player. A hat trick of nature is when a player scores 3 goals, all in a row. The 1st online – usually the most qualified offensivly line. Stock will consist of two superstars and a good player (a guy who can create plays and move the disc as well) 2nd line – sometimes can be as good as the first. This line is a good pair of goals as well. The 3rd line – usually a mixture of talent and drive. The 4th line – The line of control, the guys who are going to throw some weight around, force some turnovers, and maybe even score a goal. A player gains an advantage when you are on the ice when a goal is scored. The only time a player does not receive the majority when a goal is scored the power play. A player gets a negative point when the opposing team when a player is on the ice. The only time a player receives no less important, if a goal is scored, why did the team lacks. Plus-minus is really good to see a statistic for the defense, it can be a misleading statistic (for example, if a player is out on the ice, many things that can get more information -) You see some NHL games on television. Faced with their programs every Monday and Tuesday night, usually at 7 or 8. Trying to follow the game, and if possible, watch it with your boyfriend, then maybe you can explain more to you. Hockey is a great sport, you learn to love, believe me.
